"Chickens in the Garden" with Gretel Anspach
Chickens are a wonderful addition to any garden; they provide eggs, wonderful fertilizer, and lots of company! Learn the ins and outs of housing, feeding and tending chickens.
Gretel is a Lifetime Master Gardener with the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association and a Trustee of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. She has helped to establish and maintain two food production gardens that have provided fresh produce to the Marlborough Food Pantry for the last ten years.
In lieu of a speaker's fee, Gretel has asked all meeting attendees to please bring a package of disposable diapers for donation to the Marlborough Food Pantry.

Friendships are created and strengthened by teamwork at our civic sites, fundraising, and activity groups (book clubs, dinner club, etc.). More...
