"Climate Trends and their Impact on How We Garden" with Richard Bertin
Dr. Robert Bertin is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Biology at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester,
where he also teaches courses in Environmental Science, Ecology, and Field Botany.
Dr. Bertin’s recent research examines the flora of Massachusetts and how it has shifted over time in relationship to a changing climate, the introduction of non-native species, and changes in land use. He will speak about global temperature trends and the implications of rising carbon dioxide levels for plant growth and flowering times.

Friendships are created and strengthened by teamwork at our civic sites, fundraising, and activity groups (book clubs, dinner club, etc.). More...
