Save the Date: Annual Plant Sale
Saturday May 11, 2024 from 8:30-10:30 am
at Whitcomb Middle School
Our next meeting is March 13th
7pm at St. Matthias Church Community Hall, 409 Hemmenway St, Marlborough
David Mark will take us through the evolution of the Trail of Flowers project and share his vision for its future. Inspiration for the project began as paving work on the ARRT trail was completed in Maynard and Action. The recreation trail was functional, but wouldn’t it be more interesting with the addition of plants, shrubs and trees?
Since the 2018 planting of 2,000 bulbs in Maynard, the project has expanded every year - including Marlboro in 2020. David Mark is a retired biochemist and Maynard resident. He has served as a clean-up site coordinator for the annual OARS river clean-ups, and a long-time member of the Assabet River Rail Trail organization.

Club meetings are open to the public
Consider joining us for an evening of gardening tips and community-building!
Our members bring a rich network of talents, experience, and interests to the club. Some have extensive perennial gardens, some just grow herbs or tomatoes on the porch, but we share a passion for plants and a sense of community. Friendships are created and strengthened by teamwork at our civic sites, fundraising, and activity groups (book clubs, dinner club, etc.). More...
